Newspeak is pleased to report that we have been awarded an Organizational Development Grants from Fractured Atlas. These grants fund specific expenses relating to the strengthening and stabilizing of emerging arts organizations. We’ll be using this grant to replace components of our very tired reherasal PA system, which will improve our general rehearsal conditions, increase our efficiency, and help us operate at the highest possible musical level. Thanks Fractured Atlas!
So, as you may have noticed, we have a new website! And with it new band photos (by Stephen Taylor), a new live demo (mixed by Lawson White), and a whole new wordpress-tastic outlook on life. The site itself was designed by Peter Wise at Square Candy Design, who’s done a bang-up job! So have a look around, and leave us a note.

Eileen, Melly, and David–and to be honest, it was like 90% Eileen–have put together a killer newsletter for the band. It has all sort of fun tidbits, including info on the album, past and approaching shows, and even some info on our new secret project.

Newspeak is pleased to report that we have been awarded an operating grant from the Aaron Copland Fund for Music.
